Hello,
my name is...

Discovering techniques and mediums to bring a whimsical style to city and countryside snapshots, my artwork uses layers of mixed media to achieve these cheerful depictions.

Tyler Tannhauser is a New York-based mixed-media artist. Most of her work explores architecture and street scenes of charming locations in a whimsical manner. Using paints, oil pastels, paint markers, and torn paper, she pulls inspiration from a few of her favorite Masters; Matisse, Van Gogh and Cezanne.

Displayed locally in the Hudson Valley area, as well as on social media, Tyler creates original compositions intended to promote joy in the home.

I have been passionate about creating art since I could hold a crayon! I love experimenting with a variety of mediums, the more the merrier. I am now immersing myself into my art and the art world.
